The Engineers Registration Board (ERB) is a statutory body established by the Engineers Registration Act Cap 63 with the responsibility of regulating the engineering profession in Tanzania.

The Board hereby invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians who are in Public Service with Check Numbers and preferably Regulatory Board or similar Institution for the Post of: -

1.0   SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR- ERBGSS 3 (1 Post)

1. Entry Qualifications.

Holders of Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting with CPA (T), ACCA, ICMA or its equivalent with five years working experience and must be registered by NBAA under “Associate” or “Fellow” category.

           b. Duties and Responsibilities

1. 1. To advise the Chief Internal Auditor on financial matters of the organization.
   2. To prepare internal audit report to be tabled before the Audit Committee.
   3. To perform any other duties assigned by Chief Internal Auditor or Registrar.
   4. To ascertain the extent of compliance with the prescribed plans, policies, procedures and regulations;
   5. To check and audit the accuracy of office accounts;
   6. To prepare annual work plans;
   7. To ensure that audit reports are prepared timely and follow up implementation thereof;
   8. To follow up and advise on External Auditor’s audit queries;
   9. To participate in regular checks and investigations for internal control purposes;
   10. To follow up implementation of recommendation forwarded and accepted by management;
   11. To carry out detailed checks on stock position in store;
   12. To verify salary deduction, and statutory payments to relevant authorities.

2.0   DRIVER I - ERBOSS 2 - (3 Post)

1. Entry Qualifications

Holder of Form IV certificate of secondary education with class “C” valid driving license, of not less than three years without causing accident and should possess Trade Test Grade II /Drivers Grade II Certificate from a recognized Training Institution with at least three years working experience.

(b) Duties and Responsibilities

1. Driving ERB’s vehicles to approved destinations and in accordance with traffic regulations;
2. Checking to ensure that items such as tyres, lights, brakes and horn and tool kit are in proper working order and vehicle is kept in clean condition;
3. Checking to ensure that the Motor vehicle has sufficient fuel, water, break, fluid, battery water and tyre pressure;
4. Inspecting vehicles for defects before and after trips and submitting report indicating vehicle condition to the Administration office;
5. Maintaining motor vehicle log books according to laid down regulations;
6. Reporting promptly and accidents or incidents involving vehicle to the supervisor/ the traffic police;
7. Checking to ensure that vehicle and goods are properly locked and secured at all times;
8. Collect and Deliver Mails for the ERB;

    (d) Terms              - Permanent and Pensionable
