All 9 turbines (235 MW each) are operational, delivering 2,115 MW and around 5,920 GWh of clean power a year — roughly doubling Tanzania's grid capacity. Built 2019–2025 at a cost of TZS 7.45 trillion (≈ USD 2.8 billion), financed entirely from domestic resources.
